Wykamol CM8 Tanking  Membrane

Wykamol CM8 Waterproofing Membrane is for use on walls, floors, vaults and tunnels with minimal surface preparation required. Also suitable for external foundation waterproofing and internal above ground waterproofing to provide insulated dry lining where conventional plaster finishes are not suitable.

Wykamol Overseal Tape & Corner Tape

Wykamol Overseal Tape is used for sealing over joints between Wykamol cavity drain membranes and other materials. They can also be used for sealing around services and "difficult" details. Typically the 75mm width Overseal tape is used for sealing butt joints and overlaps. Wykamol Corner Tape is a 150 mm wide tape with many uses, but most commonly used to seal membranes from walls to floors and fixing perimeter drainage channels in place. Wykamol Brick Plugs & Seals    

Wykamol CM Brick Plugs are used to apply cavity drain membranes to the walls of both above and below ground applications. CM brick Plugs are of a high quality and can be used in a range of applications and on multiple substrate types. The tailor made Thermoplastic Elastomer seal ensures application of the membrane is water tight.

Wykamol CM8 Mesh Membrane

CM8 Mesh Membrane is a versatile membrane which incorporates a tough HDPE mesh lathing welded to the front face to allow the direct application of various plaster finishes or adhesive ‘dabs’ and plasterboard. Wykamol Waterguard Channel

The Wykamol Waterguard Drainage Channel is a PVC drainage conduit for the control of water ingress in below ground waterproofing situations. Wykamol Waterguard has a flange up-stand and is fitted around the perimeter of the floor at the vulnerable wall to floor junctions, directing any ingress of water towards a sump chamber or drain.

Platon Brick Plugs & Seals  

For Fixing Platon Membranes to walls

Platon Brick Plugs are used to secure Platon System membranes to building substrates and to fix battens or tracking systems. Before using Platon Brick Plugs either wrap a bead of Platon Rope around the back of the head of the plug to form a compression seal or put a Platon Brick Plug Seal onto the plug to again form a compression seal when the plugs are fixed.

Platon Tape is a blue butyl tape which is used for joining Platon membranes along the flange where any of these membranes overlap. It is used for abutting joints, for repairs or where membranes have been cut to enable them to overlap, for example at corners, reveals, wall/floor joints or protrusions through the membrane. 

Visqueen V20 Floor Membrane   

Visqueen V20 is used as a floor membrane as part of the Visqueen Cavity Drain System. The membrane can be used in vertical (wall) applications where a higher drainage capacity is required or complex convoluted wall shapes . The system is typically used for internally tanking basements within new, existing and retrofit build projects.

Visqueen V8 Wall Membrane

Visqueen V8  is used as a wall membrane and part of the Visqueen Cavity Drain System. The system is typically used for internally tanking basements, sub structures and retaining walls within new, existing and retrofit build projects. The system can also be used for heritage buildings and in conservations projects.

V20 Sealing Rope & Tapes

Visqueen V20 Sealing Rope is a high performance double-sided butyl rubber tape with excellent adhesion and  exibility properties. The sealing rope is primarily used to bond Visqueen V20 Floor Membranes to ensure a watertight seal. It is used around service pipes and is also applied around the rim of Visqueen Masonry Plugs forming a sealing gasket between the plug and membrane. 

Visqueen V8 Double Sided Sealing Tape is double sided butyl rubber tape with excellent adhesion properties and  exibility properties. The sealing tape bonds together Visqueen V8 Wall membrane to ensure a watertight seal.

CD Cornerstrip  /  Masonary Plugs   

Visqueen CD Corner Strip is a single sided butyl rubber self adhesive tape. The tape is primarily used to seal the 90 degree Floor/Wall junction and sealing around service entry seals such as pipes, ductings or steel stanchions. 

Visqueen Masonry Plugs are made from Polyoxymethylene and are 10mm diameter and 75mm in length. The plug is used in conjunction with Visqueen Sealing Rope around the rim of the plug to effectively form a sealing gasket between the plug and vertically  xed membrane. It is intended for use into soft brick or stone.

Cavity Drain R7 is used in situations where site conditions or structural design make it difficult or impossible to use traditional tanking methods. Cavity Drain R7 is used to collect water entering the structure and channel it to a sump or collection point for disposal (see details). Cavity Drain R7 is suitable for use on floors and ceilings, please consult RIW for further information/ guidance.

Sika Cavity Membrane Accessories

Sika® Cavity Drainage membranes can be used where site conditions or the design of the structure make it difficult to use Sika® 1 Pre-Bagged Waterproofing System or other traditional tanking methods.
